School Rules

General Rules of Conduct & Discipline



School Hours: Pre-Primary - 11.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m.Primary - 10.00a.m. to 2.30p.m.Secondary & Higher Secondary - 10.00 a.m. to 4.15 p.m.

  1. Pupils must be punctual and regular in their attendance.
  2. It is compulsory for all students to attend the assembly before the classes begin.
  3. Assembly is an integral part of the Curriculum. All children must attend Assembly regularly.
  4. No pupil will be allowed to leave school during school hours.
  5. Children who are absent for more than one month are liable to have their names struck off the School Rolls in the absence of any written application along with supportive documents.
  6. Leave of absence for birthdays, marriage feasts, going for a pleasure trip and similar reasons will strictly not be entertained.
  7. A student who is absent the day before an examination will not be allowed to sit for that particular examination under any circumstances.
  8. During Half-yearly and Annual Evaluation a student has to appear in all subjects otherwise promotion to the next class may not be granted.
  9. Promotion is granted on the basis of the whole year's performance of the pupil, hence the importance of regularity in attendance and performance. The decision of the school authority with regard to promotion is final. Result, once published, is not amended.
  10. Students are strictly not permitted to give personal gifts to any member of the staff (Teaching or Non-Teaching)
  11. No Mobile phones, gold ornaments, expensive pens / pencil boxes / watches / water- bottles etc. shall be brought to school The school will not be held responsible for the loss of any such item.
  12. The school emphasizes not only on the academic development of a child but also on her overall development, which necessarily includes character building and discipline.
  13. The conduct of the student on the way to and from school in the school bus, in the play field, Assembly and at all school functions should be exemplary.

The pupils of Christ Church Girls' High School (H.S.) are expected to behave in a lady like manner on all occasions. They should address all members of the staff with due respect and politeness. They must show gentleness and courtesy to their companions. Refinement of manners and uprightness and self restraint should be characteristic Of every pupil of the school.
